Some people have specific similarities with each other. People not related by blood may have several similarities. Twin siblings more often tend to have some behavioral and appearance similarities. Special cases occur when two or more people that are not blood related occur to be very similar to each other in many aspects. Currently, I have two friends who share some similarities; though they are not similar in appearance, something that proved to me the proverb “birds of the same feather flock together” is true. It is not easy noticing the similarities between them if one is not close enough to them. Both James and John are my friends who share a great deal of similarities.
The first similarity that James and John share is their hobbies. They both like football as players and fans. Both James and John play for the school football team as midfielder. While playing, some sort of chemistry exists between them. Apart from football, they both like watching movies and reading novels. They enjoy reading novels at the same time in the evening. Drama and action movies are their favorites. And neither James nor John listen to music.
Moreover, James and John share the same personality. Both of them are sociable, humorous, and talkative. None of them are strict or discreet. Because of their sociable traits, people often feel close to them. They both help others when faced with difficulties. They always make people laugh, and they know lots of funny stories filled with humor. They both have lots of friends and are adventurous and open to new ideas. They are always on the lookout to try new things and ideas.
James and John share the same dreams. They live very ordinary and simple lives. They both believe that education and hard work is the key to their success, and they have dreams of joining the university to pursue their degree programs. They both want to be engineers, John a mechanical engineer, and James a civil engineer. They dream of a nation that peace and justice go hand in hand, a country where their beloved children will not suffer.
In conclusion, as much as individuals are different in many aspects, special cases occur when few people are similar to each other in one way or another. Similarities are not only based on appearance, but also they can be based on personality traits. A good example was my friends, John and James. They have lots of things in common. Most of us have a tendency when our children grow up be like us and see our common features together. First, when our children are born, we can’t comment on their face for awhile. Because over time, significant changes will be felt. In this article l try to examine the similarities between myself and my daughter, who is 4 years old, in terms of physical traits and behavioural traits.
Many of the physical traits seen in people are inherited from parents. They pass it on to the next generation. The first common demonstrator between me and my daughter is one eye colour is both brown, our skin colour is both withe, and our hair colour is both brown and bare; terms of height, we are both average .
There’s no general law between child and parents regarding the behavioural characteristics,but my daughter and l have many similar behavioural characteristics. We are both silent people and neither l nor my daughter are talkative. Similarly we are both very interested in cleaning the house and achieveing our appearance.
As a result, each person inherits traits from their children and has similar physical and behavioural characteristics to their parents. My dughter and l have a lot of similar characteristics in appearance and behaviour.

While Washington, DC, has the National Gallery of Art and several other Smithsonian galleries, London’s art scene and galleries have a definite edge in this category. From the Tate Modern to the British National Gallery, London’s art ranks among the world’s best. This difference and advantage has much to do with London and Britain’s historical depth compared to that of the United States. London has a much richer past than Washington, DC, and consequently has a lot more material to pull from when arranging its collections. Both cities have thriving theater districts, but again, London wins this comparison, too, both in quantity and quality of theater choices. With regard to other cultural places like restaurants, pubs, and bars, both cities are very comparable. Both have a wide selection of expensive, elegant restaurants as well as a similar amount of global and national chains. While London may be better known for its pubs and taste in beer, DC offers a different bar-going experience. With clubs and pubs that tend to stay open later than their British counterparts, the DC night life tend to be less reserved overall.
Both cities also share and differ in cultural diversity and cost of living. Both cities share a very expensive cost of living—both in terms of housing and shopping. A downtown one-bedroom apartment in DC can easily cost $1,800 per month, and a similar “flat” in London may double that amount. These high costs create socioeconomic disparity among the residents. Although both cities’ residents are predominantly wealthy, both have a significantly large population of poor and homeless. Perhaps the most significant difference between the resident demographics is the racial makeup. Washington, DC, is a “minority majority” city, which means the majority of its citizens are races other than white. In 2009, according to the US Census, 55 percent of DC residents were classified as “Black or African American” and 35 percent of its residents were classified as “white.” London, by contrast, has very few minorities—in 2006, 70 percent of its population was “white,” while only 10 percent was “black.” The racial demographic differences between the cities is drastic.
Even though Washington, DC, and London are major capital cities of English-speaking countries in the Western world, they have many differences along with their similarities. They have vastly different histories, art cultures, and racial demographics, but they remain similar in their cost of living and socioeconomic disparity.
Every family member has their own characteristics. Some are similar, the others are different. One family member that I share the most with, is my younger brother. We have many things in common. Our similarities include our physical appearance, life style, leisure activities, and food choice.
Actually our physical appearance , structure, height and complexion are quite similar and people are often confused from distance to identify whether I am Hamed or not, especially when we wear suits.this is really a wonder for me and everyone else.

Him and I
When I spent my childhood many years ago, my brother unintentionally became a big part of all my memories. I spent most of my time with him. We grew up completely the same. We have many same interests, same hobbies, same beliefs, and even the same looks, even though most people think we are twins. However, we have differences, but we get along very well. Although, our different thoughts can lead to arguments, but in the end our similarities bring us together. We are siblings and good friends who have a lot in common.
The first thing we have in common is our same interests. We both like music. My brother, just like me, always listens to instrumental music in the morning. He is interested in blue music when he is feeling down; similarly, I choose blue music in my down moods. In our musical tastes, rock music is first and metal is last. Nonetheless, we have a different selection of music that is appropriate for the times we are in the car. Next. my brother is similar to me in his ability to cook Spaghetti. Both him and I put a lot of mushrooms in our Spaghetti recipes. He enjoys eating Spaghetti for dinner; likewise, I prefer to eat Spaghetti at night.
The second thing we have in common is our same beliefs, which leads to the same results on most issues. Not only my brother, but also me talk about religion and politics rarely, and we both believe that the only thing we need to survive is humanity. My brother, similar to me, believes in talking about problems rather than suppressing them. In our ability to convince people what is right and what is wrong, my brother and I are the same.
Moreover, we have the same hobbies, which is my favourite. Watching movies and going for walks are our same hobbies. I go for walks three times a week, but he goes for walks on the weekends. My brother, similar to me, likes to watch dramas. On the other hand, we both don’t like watching comedies. Although we both like movies, TV series are not our taste.
In short, our similarities are the main reason why we have many good memories together, and for the last word, I think it is a perfect gift to have siblings and also to have a brother, which fortunately my parents gave me.

Friends Similarities
people share some similarities with their best friends in many ways. These similarities are usually in appearance, attitude, and interests; and it makes the friendship more enjoyable. My friend and I have many things in common, too. In following paragraphs, I mentioned some of these similarities.
The most distinct one is in our appearance. when somebody meet us, they think we are sisters and it seems difficult for them to recognise that we are just friends. Both of us are slim, with a same height. Her face is heart-shaped, and so is mine. She, just like me, is baby-faced. Surprisingly, both of us have green eyes.
Besides what I mentioned about our appearance, we have some same interests, as well. We are both potentially artists. We have been taking drawing courses for over 3 years; and now we are professional in this field. I enjoy travelling a lot; similarly, she is a fan of being in vacation. Neither my friend nor I like reading books; instead, we are into watching movies.
Finally, I think our similarities have made our relationship long and sweet; so that we can hardly feel the differences between us. Literally, spending time with a friend with the same mindsets and interests as you, is worth every minute. So if you have one, KEEP them in your life the way you keep your jewelleries.

SUN AND THE SUNFLOWER
Nature could be a great field to discover fantastic similarities among the various creatures. By comparing sun and sunflower you will find how many in commons there are between my missing mum, as my life sun, and me; in the role of sunflower.
First let me point to the most brilliant feature which is the same about me and my mum. As God willing, I am mum right now, just as my mum .Thus ,as every mother me and my mum are kind enough to our children.Neither me nor my mum can ignore our lovely offspring.
Moreover, according to our relatives claim; there are many similarities in me and my mum appearance,my height is quite tall, just as my mum. I have got brown straight hair and light brown eyes ,similar to my mum .In fact both me and my mum are prone to Goiter at the age of 30.
In conclusion, not only we were mother and daughter but also we were like two sisters for each other .Indeed ,I always hope to be alike my mum in her vast measurement of sympathy to the other people ;just like sun which is devoting it’s whole passion and warmth to all.
Brotherhood
Most siblings have many things in common, like face, hairstyle, and color skin. My older brother and I are very similar to each other. What surprises everyone is that despite the 4-year age difference, we share the same personality traits and interests.
First, we have many similarities in our appearances. My brother and I are both tall and have the same height. We both have the same smile because we have the smile of our dad. Furthermore, we both have black hair and eyes. Our round faces are almost identical. We also wear the same sizes of clothes. Moreover, our styles of fashion are also similar, including t-shirts and jeans. Both of us have a never-ending hunger for clothes! And guess what, the same size fits us all!
Second, our educational interest is also the same. We all are from a ‘Math-commerce’ background! We both love mathematical solutions and hate science. In addition, we love English and French and this is the thing we proud of!
Moreover, we share the same personality traits. We both like singing and watching movies. Both of us are good at painting and the rest of the family always indicate it. I am the favorite kid of dad; he is the favorite kid of mom. In addition, we both love to read. We have quite a collection of books and novels at home.
In short, siblings that are raised the same usually share a lot in common.

In fact, these similarities are the reason for us to get along well in life. We understand each other well. If something goes wrong in life, we will be there to help each other.

Both me and my mom are good at cooking. We both love eating similar foods such as pasta and pizza. Being a book worm is another attitude we share, and also in clothing style we both have same ideas.
As a result, if people focus on their things in common, they can get closer to each other. Especially children whom learn from their parents and decide to follow them as a role model.
A garden with different flowers becomes beautiful when it blossoms. Similarly, if parents learn how to be a gardener and are able to recognize their children’s differences and similarities and nourish it, then their garden will become fragrant!Similarity among family members matter for relationship satisfaction and union dissolution. While growing up, my sister and I were really close. We did everything together; we had the same friends and everything. Even now we have many common interests which we are doing them in our free time, similarly;such as reading novels that my sister like me,enjoys of reading them not only in the same topic as my choice but also exactly novels writen by the same author in who I am interested.
Sisters may annoy one another more than they’d like to admit, but at the end of the day, they have each other’ backs more than anyone else. Even if they fight over the smallest things, they won’t hesitate to provide a shoulder to cry on. having a sister is that they make you a better person.
